HDTV and Commercial Video Distribution Systems
Lynx Broadband HDTV and commercial video distribution systems are engineered for:

- Hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Government and municipal buildings
- Schools and universities
- Corporate offices
- Hotels and hospitality
A passive design that maximizes up time, Lynx Broadband’s commercial video distribution systems do not require power in the wiring closet and comply with BICSI standards. More affordable than coax cable, and other competitive technologies such as internet protocol television (IPTV), Lynx Broadband ethernet HDTV and video distribution systems systems can distribute frequencies up to 860 MHz over cat 6. It is ideal for delivery of standard definition, high definition (HD) and 4K from cable providers, cable television (CATV) headed, satellite headed and local over-the-air broadcasts.
Lynx Ultra HDTV System
The Lynx Ultra Television Distribution System delivers HDTV and video on Cat 6 cable. This allows your organization to leverage unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable infrastructure to deliver television on the same cable you use for internet and VoIP as well as a host of other services with the added benefit of using zero bandwidth on your network.
Lynx Ultra enables the distribution of up to 804 digital channels or 268 high-Definition channels or any combination on CAT 5e or 6 cable. The system is designed to deliver RF video frequencies up to 860 MHz over distances up to 100 meters in stunning HD and 4K quality.

Fiber Optic RF Backbone
Lynx offers a complete line of high-performance fiber transmitters and receivers, which are typically used for building-to-building distribution in campus environments, or distribution between the main distribution frame (MDF) and intermediate distribution frame (IDF) in large buildings. The receivers are designed with state-of-the-art GaN (gallium nitride) technology that provides extremely high signal quality.
1310 nm single-mode fiber is used for these applications. Cable losses are only 0.6 dBm per mile. And the signals are impervious to electromagnetic interference and lightning strikes.
To insure proper system design and installation, Lynx will provide a complete system design (at no charge). This includes a detailed design drawing showing the equipment layout and the recommended signal strength at each transition point.
